What sort of workspace best serves an organization with an unwavering commitment to preserving our environment and a vision for a cleaner, healthier future? In June of 2016, Lewis Stevenson partnered with Environmental Defense Fund to answer that very question. But there was a twist—As with many of EDF’s initiatives, the group needed to get its new offices on Manhattan’s Park Avenue South up and running quickly and efficiently.
In just four weeks, Lewis Stevenson installed a fully outfitted home for EDF’s New York corporate headquarters. The project consisted of 70 workstations and 80 private offices. With flexible, streamlined furniture from leading manufacturers AIS and Kimball Office, near-seamless glass office fronts by Planet Partitioning and integrated smart technology throughout each floor. The space is focused, innovative, and inspiring—just like EDF and its ongoing mission to save our planet.
